Eurocode 5 - a halftime summary of the review process

In summer 2016 we would have reached the half-time of the review process of Eurocode 5. The mini-symposium should give an overview of the 'done's' and of the 'to-do's' to reach the final target. Namely the development of  'ease-of-use' is a special target of the new generation of the Eurocodes and therefore the new structure and examples of the new Eurocode 5 will be presented and discussed with experts around the world. In addition the results of new research projects directly linked to the review and development of Eurocode 5 will be presented. This will be organized in coordination with the new COST action FP 1402 "Basis of structural timber design". Also the new parts o Eurocode 5 - CLT structures, composites, reinforcement - will be presented in detail.
